Rich Haskins grew up in Albion, Michigan, and discovered his passion for drumming at age 14 under the guidance of Gustavious Bohm, whose family had ties to the legendary John Philip Sousa. At 16, Rich’s band The Nomads won a regional Battle of the Bands and advanced to the state finals in Grand Rapids, Michigan. One of his bandmates later went on to form the renowned Kenny Parker Band out of Detroit. For the past 13 years, Rich has been performing professionally on the cajón, bringing dynamic rhythm and energy to every stage. He is currently a member of Loosely Wound, a talented three-piece band based in Brandon, Florida.
